"I wanna see the sea creatures!" Day 2

Hours worked: 8-12:15 (4 hours, 15 minutes)

Today was very exciting because Hannah and I brought the tadpoles into the classroom. As soon as we opened the door, eyes turned towards us to see what was in our hands. Raz helped us find a spot for them and we turned on the light so it was easy for the kids to see the tadpoles. Almost half of them came over and were very interested in them. Then we gave most of them their science journals so they could draw pictures of the tadpoles that they saw! They did a really good job and really got into it. Joe, did four pages worth of pictures and Garrett even drew the tank that they were in. Afterwards, they cleaned up and had snack. Then it was a very exciting day because we went to see Bill at the music studio where they sang lots of songs, danced, and even got to play some instruments. Then we walked over to the elementary school where they met with their fifth grade reading buddies. Next, we got some time to go on the playground where Hannah and I spent most of our time pushing the kids on the swings. Then we walked back to the daycare and had a puppet show that was put on by Raz and Amy. Following the puppet show the kids got more outside time on the daycare playground. Before Hannah and I left for lunch we helped all the kids settle down for lunch and made sure they had everything they needed. Lagan was not very interested in eating lunch, but wanted to see the "sea creatures" which was the tadpoles. Today was a more relaxed day and we got lots of exercise by walking around the small town of Andover!

Love that you are including pictures. If you use a picture that allows one to see the student, make sure you are getting permission form the parent.
